Ethiopian Opal Necklace, Welo Opal Bead Strand with Sterling Silver Clasp

Ethiopian Welo opal beads graduated from small at the clasp to largest at the centre, finished with a sterling silver clasp. Welo opal shows play-of-colour against a pale body — flashes of green, orange and pink that appear and vanish as the strand moves.

Play-of-colour differs from bead to bead. Welo opal can absorb water, so keep it away from prolonged soaking and harsh cleaners.
